Ohio Wesleyan University senior Dani Haley (Maumee/Anthony Wayne) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of April 14, it was announced by the NCAC.
Haley, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan softball team, was named Softball Player of the Week.
Haley batted .556 (10-for-18) last week in helping the Bishop softball team to a 4-2 week. In doubleheader sweeps of Kenyon and Wittenberg over the weekend, Haley was 9-for-13 (.692) with 4 runs scored and 4 RBI. She tied a school record with 4 hits in the opener against Kenyon, and her walk-off RBI single ended the opener against Wittenberg. In the pitching circle, Haley also recorded 2 wins and a save over the weekend.
