Ohio Wesleyan University freshman Sierra Wright (Loudonville) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of April 14, it was announced by the NCAC.

Wright, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's track & field team, was named Women's Sprinter/Hurdler of the Week.

Wright won a pair of All-Ohio citations at Saturday's All-Ohio Division III championship meet, helping Ohio Wesleyan to a second-place finish in the team standings.  She finished second in the 400-meter dash and helped the Bishop 400-meter relay team to a second-place finish.  The relay team's time of :49.22 broke the school record of :49.32 set last year.
