Ohio Wesleyan University sophomore Dominic Orsini (Massillon/Archbishop Hoban) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 6, it was announced by the NCAC.

Orsini, a quarterback on the Ohio Wesleyan football team, was named Football Offensive Player of the Week.

Orsini ran for 152 yards on 16 carries and completed 21 of 28 passes for 211 yards and a score in Ohio Wesleyan's 36-19 win at Allegheny on Saturday.  He broke loose on a 56-yard run that set up a first-half field goal, helped set up the go-ahead field goal in the fourth quarter with an 11-yard run to the Allegheny 5-yard line, and threw a 20-yard touchdown pass later in the fourth quarter.
