Ohio Wesleyan University sophomore Haley Savoie (Poway, Calif./Del Norte) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 20, it was announced by the NCAC.

Savoie, a midfielder on the Ohio Wesleyan field hockey team, was named Field Hockey Player of the Week.

Savoie scored the game-winning goal :36 into the first overtime period to give Ohio Wesleyan a 1-0 win over Denison on Thursday.  She followed that performance by compiling 2 goals and an assist in a 4-1 win over Hendrix on Friday, including the goal that gave the Bishops a 2-0 lead in the contest.
