Ohio Wesleyan University Athletics

Ohio Wesleyan University junior Abbey Warth (Massillon/Tuslaw) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 19, it was announced by the NCAC.

Warth, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's track & field team, was named Women's Distance Runner of the Week.

Warth won an event and helped a relay team to a win as Ohio Wesleyan won the team title at the OWU Triangular on Friday.  Warth won the 800-meter run in 2:21.79 and was a member of the Bishop 1600-meter relay team, which won its event in 4:14.85.
