Ohio Wesleyan University junior Roemello Cook (Akron/Buchtel) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 9, it was announced by the NCAC.

Cook, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan men's track & field team, was named Men's Sprinter/Hurdler of the Week.

Cook won an event to help Ohio Wesleyan take the team title at the Bob Shannon Invitational on Saturday.  He won the 60-meter hurdles in :08.60 and added a seventh-place finish in the 200-meter dash.
