Ohio Wesleyan University junior Dominick Orsini (Massillon/Archbishop Hoban) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 9, it was announced by the NCAC.

Orsini, a quarterback on the Ohio Wesleyan football team, was named Football Offensive Player of the Week.

Orsini ran for 2 touchdowns, threw for another 2 scores, and accounted for more than 400 yards in total offense in Ohio Wesleyan's 39-9 win over Allegheny on Saturday.  He scored on runs of 1 and 73 yards and threw for TDs of 43 and 87 yards.  Orsini completed 24 of 31 throws for 316 yards and led all rushers with 106 yards on 11 carries.  His 422 yards in total offense ties for fifth place on the Bishop single-game list.  The 87-yard scoring pass is the third-longest touchdown pass in the Bishop record book.
