Ohio Wesleyan University freshman Sam Curtin (Delaware/Hayes) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 16, it was announced by the NCAC.

Curtin, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's swimming & diving team, was named Women's Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week.

Curtin won 2 events and helped a relay team to another first-place finish as Ohio Wesleyan swept a double-dual meet against NCAA Division II institutions Urbana and Davis & Elkins on Friday.  She won the 100 freestyle in :54.86 and won the 100 breaststroke in 1:11.76, and anchored the 200 freestyle relay team, which won its event in 1:49.29.  Curtin then turned in 2 first-place finishes and helped a relay team to another win to lead Ohio Wesleyan in a dual meet against John Carroll on Saturday.  She swept the 100 and 200 freestyle events in respective times of :55.71 and 2:01.22, and anchored the 400 freestyle relay team, which touched first in 3:51.88.
