Ohio Wesleyan University senior Claude Gray (Avon) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 23, it was announced by the NCAC.

Gray, a wing on the Ohio Wesleyan men's basketball team, was named Men's Basketball Player of the Week.

Gray scored 17 points to share the team lead and added 5 rebounds as 13th-ranked Ohio Wesleyan defeated Capital, 72-59, on Tuesday.  He led the Bishops with 22 points in a 96-77 win over Alma in the first round of the Great Lakes Challenge on Friday.  Gray then scored 4 points during a 9-0 run that put Ohio Wesleyan ahead to stay in a 91-83 win over Calvin in the second round of the Great Lakes Challenge.  He finished with a team-high 27 points and added 5 rebounds and 2 assists.
