Ohio Wesleyan University sophomore Amanda Clay (Van Wert) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 18, it was announced by the NCAC.

Clay, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's track & field team, was named Women's Sprinter/Hurdler of the Week.

Clay won the 60-meter dash in :08.15 and placed third in the long jump, and led off the Ohio Wesleyan 800-meter relay team, which won its event in 1:49.43 as the Bishops won the team title at the OWU Triangular on Friday.
