Ohio Wesleyan University senior Dominick Orsini (Massillon/Archbishop Hoban) have been named North Coast Athletic Conference Players of the Week for the week of Oct. 24, it was announced by the NCAC.

Orsini, a quarterback on the Ohio Wesleyan football team, was named Football Offensive Player of the Week for the second consecutive week.

Orsini set a school record for total offense, including the second-highest single-game rushing performance in school history, in Ohio Wesleyan's 37-15 win at DePauw on Saturday.  Orsini ran for 252 yards on 25 carries, scoring on touchdown runs of 37, 7, and 4 yards. His 7-yard TD run put the Bishops ahead to stay at 21-15 with 1:13 left in the first half.  The 252 yards ranks second on the Ohio Wesleyan single-game rushing list, trailing only a 280-yard performance by James Rike against Western Reserve on Nov. 24, 1906.  Orsini also completed 20 of 32 passes for 242 yards and a score.  His 494 yards in total offense broke the school record of 484 yards set by Mason Espinosa against Hiram on Nov. 13, 2010.
