Ohio Wesleyan University senior Megan Kuether (Osgood/Marion Local) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 9, it was announced by the NCAC.
Kuether, a guard on the Ohio Wesleyan women's basketball team, was named Women's Basketball Player of the Week.
Kuether scored Ohio Wesleyan's first 8 points of the game in a 70-59 loss at 22nd-ranked DePauw on Wednesday. She led the Bishops with 29 points and shared the team lead with 3 assists. In an 83-72 win over Wooster on Saturday, Keuther had a 3-pointer and a jumper during a 7-0 burst that extended Ohio Wesleyan's lead to 19-4. She led the Bishops with 22 points and 6 assists. On the week, Kuether averaged 25.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 4.5 assists per game.
