Why did you choose Ohio Wesleyan?
I chose OWU because it felt like home.  It is a place where you are surrounded by great people and great resources always. It is one of my favorite places in the world to be.

Why did you choose your majors?
I chose psychology because it was something I was always interested in. I have always wanted to help people in any way that I can and I'm not interested in being a doctor but to be someone who can be a confidant or help improve someone’s life; that is my dream. I love learning about how to help people mentally and how mental impacts physical and social. Everything is intertwined and I can't wait to apply that in my job.

Why did you choose to compete in sports at Ohio Wesleyan?
I chose to compete in athletics here first and foremost because I love my sport. I love the feeling I get when I dive into the water but most importantly I did it for the team. I met my team before I came here and I instantly fell in love. Now more than ever, I know that they will support me through anything and I would do the same. It may be an individual sport but I would be nowhere without my team.

What is your favorite memory on an Ohio Wesleyan team?
My favorite memory on my team is our pre-meet cheer; it always gets me ready to compete and it makes us feel together. Swimming is a very individual sport but that cheer makes you feel as if you have the whole team behind you.

What is your ideal travel destination?
My ideal travel destination is Thailand, I would love to explore the culture, the food and visit the temples that are there. I also want to meet an elephant because they are so majestic and also my favorite animal.
