Ohio Wesleyan University sophomore Cara DeAngelis (Norton/Ellet) was named North Coast Athletic Conference Women's Middle Distance/Distance Runner of the Week for the week of April 9, it was announced by the NCAC.

DeAngelis set a school record in helping the Ohio Wesleyan women's track & field team win the team title at the Marv Frye Invitational, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan.  DeAngelis won the 1500-meter run in 4:34.24, breaking the school record of 4:37.12 she set last year.
