Why did you choose Ohio Wesleyan?
I knew I wanted to run track and looking at what the women's team has done, I wanted to be a part of it. Also, the academics were good.
Why did you choose your major?
I knew I wanted to do something with sports, but I also had an interest in business, so it was the best of both worlds.
How did it feel to win the North Coast Athletic Conference pentathlon title?
It felt unreal. It took me three years to get to the top, and what better way to go out than standing on top?
What is your favorite memory on an Ohio Wesleyan team?
Honestly, it's when we came in second at the indoor conference meet last year. Most people would pick a happy memory, but for me, it really determined the team as a whole. Instead of sulking around for the rest of the year, we continued to push to gain the title back. After losing again outdoors, everyone was anxious for the next season to start so we could work harder than we ever had in order to prove that even though we were knocked down, we can rise to the occasion.
What event other than your own would you like to try?
It would probably be discus, because even though I don't have the arm strength, I have speed to possibly compensate for the lack of strength.
If you could have a super power, what would it be?
Shape-shifting because I could be any animal and I could mess with people.
