Meet the Bishops:  Get to know a little about Shane Quin of the Ohio Wesleyan football team.

Name:  Shane Quin

Class year:  Senior

Major:  History Education

How/Why did you choose Ohio Wesleyan?
I chose Ohio Wesleyan because I felt I would fit in very well with the football program here.  I also knew academically it would be a great choice to set me up for the future.

How/Why did you choose your major?
I had teachers from my high school who had a large impact on my life. This made me want to teach in hopes that I can have this type of impact on my students' lives.

What athletic or academic achievement/accomplishment are you most proud of?
Being on the Dean's List and winning the team iron man award.

What did you do to put yourself in a position to achieve that goal/accomplishment?
I was able achieve this by sacrificing my time to better myself in the classroom as well as on the field. 

Is there a specific coach or teammate who has helped you get to where you are?
Coach (Pat) Delaney has helped me get to where I am as a player and as a person.  He pushes us to be the best we can possibly be every day.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be?
Flying.

If you could visit another time, when would it be and why?
I would go to the roaring twenties.  Was a simpler time to be alive.  Known as “the era of wonderful nonsense”.

What are your three favorite movies?
Lone Survivor, Cinderella Man, The Wolf of Wall Street
