Why did you choose Ohio Wesleyan?
I chose to attend Ohio Wesleyan after I visited. Everyone was welcoming and the environment was great. I knew I wanted to play baseball in college as well and Ohio Wesleyan gave me that opportunity.
Why did you choose your major?
Playing sports is about physicality but it is also about psychology. This is something that has always interested me and being able to take classes in high school really helped me in deciding to choose psychology as a major.
What athletic or academic achievement/accomplishment are you most proud of?
I am most proud of my athletic achievement of being able to come here as a freshman and start several games.
What did you do to put yourself in position to achieve that?
I came to school ready to put in the work and make the most of my time to show the team and coaches that I should play.
What are your strengths as an athlete (as an individual)?
I bring a good energy to the team every day. I come ready to work regardless of time, place, or situation.
Do you have any pre-event rituals or superstitions?
The best pre-event ritual that I do is that when we have home games I usually eat a meal with teammates which helps us relax and focus on the game ahead.
If you could have a super power, what would it be?
Teleportation. It would be great to be able to go to any place in the world instantly.
What is your ideal travel destination?
I want to travel the world, but my first location would be Japan. I have always been interested in the culture and would love to go visit.
Which three people, living or dead, would you like to share a meal with?
I would want to share a meal with Leonardo DiCaprio, Derek Jeter, and Muhammad Ali.
