Why did you choose Ohio Wesleyan?
I chose OWU because of its historic lacrosse team. I really enjoyed the small-school environment.
Why did you choose your major?
I was originally a business administration, but Dr. (Kate) Riffee of the (health and human kinetics) department convinced me to switch. I knew I wanted to end up in the sporting world, and I'm so pleased I switched.
Why did you choose to compete in sports at Ohio Wesleyan?
I was recruited to play here after one of the assistant coaches saw me play and coached me at a prospect day. My uncle (Patrick Colligan) played here as well, so I knew of the history and significance of the University.
Do you have any pre-event rituals or superstitions?
I select 2 of the 4 chapters I have highlighted in the book "Mind Gym: An Athlete's Guide to Inner Excellence" to read in my locker. I watch a highlight reel playlist of my saves over my 4 years here to visualize. As I am about to be warmed up in goal, I do the same ritual of hitting the posts with my stick every time.
What are your strengths as an athlete (as an individual)?
I would say communication and leadership skills.
What is your number one goal, personal or team, for this season?
To make it to an NCAC championship game.
What event/sport other than your own would you like to try?
I have always loved the idea of being a baseball closer. I love the pressure just like being a lacrosse goalie.
What are your plans for after graduation?
I am hoping to work for a professional sports team in their operations department or to work in the athletic department of a college.
What is your favorite place to eat in Delaware, and what is your go-to dish there?
I love to eat at the Old Dog Alehouse & Brewery, and my go-to meal is the Steak Frites

Roanoke, Virginia
What advice would you give to someone considering becoming a student-athlete?
Try your best to form connections with people outside of your team on campus. You would be surprised how many people in other sports share similar experiences or struggles as you.
What is your favorite season and why?
I would say last year (2023 season) because of my career-high game vs nationally ranked Cabrini.
