Why did you choose Ohio Wesleyan?
One reason is the great professors I met on my visits that were very helpful and passionate about what they do. I also liked the smaller class sizes and additional support available at a smaller campus.
Why did you choose your majors?
I have always been really interested in both biology and chemistry. Also, I have really enjoyed the biochemistry course and lab that I am currently taking this year.
Why did you choose to compete in sports at Ohio Wesleyan?
I chose to play soccer at Ohio Wesleyan because I love having the opportunity to be active and play the sport I love in a competitive environment. It's nice to be part of a program that has been improving the past few years and to see how the team continues to grow.
Why do you like your position?
I like playing in the center midfield because it allows me to get involved a lot in the game both offensively and defensively.
Is there a specific coach or teammate who has helped you get where you are?
It's hard to pinpoint just one or two coaches/teammates who have helped me get to where I am, because they have all truly helped mold me into the player I am today.
What athletic or academic achievement/accomplishment are you most proud of
I am probably most proud of the (Charles H. and Magdalen) Schafer Chemistry Scholarship that I won last year from the chemistry department at Ohio Wesleyan.
What did you do to put yourself in position to achieve that?
Continuing to work hard in classes that I struggled more with and keeping optimistic helped put me in that position. I also think that being fully involved and invested in what I was doing, in this case my classes and being a lab TA, helped me achieve this.
If you could have a super power, what would it be?
It would be cool and convenient to be able to teleport.
What is your favorite season and why?
My favorite season is the fall since some of my favorite holidays are then and I love the more chilly weather.
Which three people, living or dead, would you like to share a meal with?
Lionel Messi, Gordon Ramsey, and Zendaya
