Why did you choose Ohio Wesleyan?
I chose Ohio Wesleyan because it's close to my home. I love the campus and all of the connections I can create while I am here.
Why did you choose your major?
I have always found interest in business. Taking classes here made me realize that marketing was something that I was passionate about. I want to become a project manager or go into sales and the Ohio Wesleyan curriculum will help me achieve that.
What is your favorite memory on an Ohio Wesleyan team?
My favorite memory so far while being on the team is last year's conference meet. The energy and atmosphere was so fun to be in.
Do you have any pre-event rituals or superstitions?
My pre-meet ritual is pretty simple. I like to listen to music, stretch and keep loose, and visualize what I need to do to have a good race.
What are your strengths as an athlete?:
My strengths as an athlete are always being positive and encouraging my teammates to be the best that they can.
What athletic or academic achievement/accomplishment are you most proud of?
I am most proud of being able to get a best time in almost every event I competed in last year.
What did you do to put yourself in position to achieve that?
I worked hard in practice, trusted my coach's process, and executed when it came time to race.
What is your favorite place that you have traveled to as an OWU student-athlete?
My favorite place I have gone as a student-athlete at Ohio Wesleyan is Stuart, Florida. We have an annual trip there for our winter training trip.
