Why did you choose Ohio Wesleyan?
I chose OWU because of the welcoming community. I knew that this small yet connected university would be a good fit for me both academically and socially immediately after my first tour.
Why did you choose your sport?
I chose to participate in college golf for my love of the game and to have an immediate family of teammates! Moving from high school to college can be rather challenging, so having the privilege of meeting the team before coming to OWU made this transition smoother.
Do you have any pre-event rituals or superstitions?
Before tournaments, I always make sure I bring my headphones for my pre-round warm up. I usually listen to Drake on the van rides to the course as well.
What is your number one goal, personal or team, for this season?
My number one goal for both my teammates and me is to continue to uplift the OWU women's golf program by working hard. This year with four freshmen recruits, I have hopes that we can continue to build this program! I am confident in our ability to remain positive regardless of scoring and always give our all on the course.
What are your strengths as an athlete?
My strength as an individual athlete is my ability to bounce back after a bad hole. As the mental side of golf is rather challenging, I have worked over many years on my attitude and the mental side of the game during tournaments.
What event/sport other than your own would you like to try?
Other than golf, I would like to try pickleball or take a yoga class!
What is your favorite movie character and why?
My favorite movie character is Katniss Everdeen from "The Hunger Games."
Which three people, living or dead, would you like to share a meal with?
Three people I would like to share a meal with are Alexander Hamilton, MGK, and Albert Einstein.
What is your ideal travel destination?
My ideal travel destination is somewhere tropical, very hot and sunny, with a beautiful beach.
