Ohio Wesleyan University senior Emily Amburgey (Germantown/Preble Shawnee) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 11, it was announced by the NCAC.

Amburgey, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's track & field team, was named Women's Field Event Performer of the Week.

Amburgey won All-Ohio laurels with second-place finishes in the high jump and the long jump, helping Ohio Wesleyan take second place in the team standings at the annual Division III All-Ohio championship meet on Saturday.
