Ohio Wesleyan University senior Emily Amburgey (Germantown/Preble Shawnee) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Players of the Week for the week of April 8, it was announced by the NCAC.

Amburgey, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's track & field team, was named Women's Field Event Performer of the Week.

Amburgey won 2 events to help Ohio Wesleyan win the team title at its Marv Frye Invitational.  She won the long jump and the high jump, going 17-4¾ in the former and clearing 5-2¼ in the latter, and also placed sixth in the triple jump.
