Ohio Wesleyan University senior Hannah Benzing (Findlay/Liberty Benton) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of April 15, it was announced by the NCAC.

Benzing, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's track & field team, was named Women's Field Event Performer of the Week.

Benzing won 2 events to lead Ohio Wesleyan to a second-place finish at the All-Ohio Division III championship meet, hosted by Ohio Wesleyan.  Benzing won the discus and the hammer with respective throws of 142-7 and 167-6, with her throw in the hammer breaking the meet record of 155-10.  She also placed second in the shot put.
