Ohio Wesleyan University sophomore Mason Espinosa (Cookeville, Tenn.), senior Travis Wall (Columbus/Upper Arlington), and sophomore Hannah Zacharias (Marysville) have been named North Coast Athletic Conference Players of the Week for the week of Oct. 31, it was announced by the NCAC.
Espinosa, a quarterback, was named Football Offensive Player of the Week. In Ohio Wesleyan's 42-24 win at Kenyon, he tossed a pair of third-quarter touchdown passes as Ohio Wesleyan wiped out a 24-17 deficit and went on to the win. Espinosa completed 23 of 35 passes for 424 yards and 4 scores, and ran for 34 yards on 8 carries. The 424 yards passing ranks third, while the 458 yards in total offense ties for second place on the Ohio Wesleyan single-game lists.
