DELAWARE, Ohio – The Ohio Wesleyan University men's swimming and diving team hosted Ohio Northern and Bluffton on Friday night at the Meek Center. The Battling Bishops would split the night, beating Bluffton 150-2 but losing to Ohio Northern 141-81.
INDIVIDUALS
Ian Sander secured wins in both of his individual events with a 55.62 in the 100 yard individual medley and a 1:00.84 in the 100 yard breaststroke.
Eric Sander finished first in the 200 yard freestyle and second in the 500 yard freestyle. He swam a 1:50.65 in the 200 and a 5:11.47 in the 500.
Evan Lucas secured first in the 100 yard butterfly with a 53.50 and second in the 200 yard freestyle with a 1:53.40.
John Wion won the 100 yard backstroke with a 53.26 and finished second in the 50 yard freestyle with a 21.75.
Nathan Ambler finished third in the 200 yard freestyle with a 1:53.49.
RELAYS
OWU was second in both the 200 yard medley relay and the 200 yard freestyle relay.

Evan Lucas, and
Henry Gaudet swam a 1:37.95 in the medley relay.
Tomoki Nishigori,
Collin Barth,
Eric Sander, and
Nathan Ambler recorded a 1:32.65 in the free relay.
