GAMBIER, Ohio – The Ohio Wesleyan University men's and women's swimming and diving teams traveled to face Kenyon in their final meet of the 2025 calendar year on Saturday morning, ultimately falling with scores of 171-36 on the men's side and 153-40 on the women's side.
John Wion nabbed first place in the men's 100 yard backstroke, putting up a time of 51.60.
Evan Lucas finished third in the men's 100 yard backstroke with a time of 56.44. Lucas also took fourth in the men's 100 yard freestyle, posting a time of 48.53.
With a time of 59.39,
Ian Sander came in fourth place in the men's 100 yard backstroke. He also secured third place in the men's 200 yard breaststroke with a score of 2:13.78
Nathan Ambler finished fourth in the men's 200 yard freestyle with a time of 26.29.
Alex Tovtyn claimed fifth place in the men's 200 yard freestyle, posting a time of 30.47.
MacKenzie Carter took fourth place in the women's 100 yard backstroke, putting up a time of 1:00.50.
