Ward Selected to Participate in NCAA Division III Championship

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – After Saturday's regional competitions, the NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Cross Country Committee announced the participants of the 2025 NCAA Division III Men's and Women's Cross Country Championships. Among those selected to participate was Ohio Wesleyan University junior Zoe Ward.

Ward most recently led the Battling Bishops to a fifth place finish at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional on Saturday, finishing third overall with a time of 22:08.62. This comes after she won NCAC Runner of the Year with a first place finish at the NCAC Championship with a time of 22:10.9 and paced the Bishops to their first conference title.

All-in-all, Ward won two races this year in the NCAC Championship and OWU Invitational, and finished in the top five in two others, making four total top five finishes in six races. She also turned in her best time of the season at Connecticut College Invitational on October 18th, running a 21:35.62 and finishing 31st overall in the loaded championship race that featured 16 nationally-ranked teams.

The NCAA Division III Championship race will be held in Spartanburg, South Carolina on Saturday at 11 a.m.
