Bishops Complete Play at the Heidelberg Fall Invitational

FOSTORIA, Ohio – The Ohio Wesleyan University women's golf team took part in the 36-hole Heidelberg Fall Invitational on Friday and Saturday. The Bishops finished 10th of 14 teams with rounds of 360 and 343 for a total of 703 strokes.

Lexi Rush and Audrey Nichols led the way in round one, both shooting 85s. Bella Gales and Samantha Mazotas followed, finishing off the team scorecard with 93 and 97 respectively. Angela Soellner shot a 101 in round one. Carly Lehman shot a 102 playing as an individual.

Rush dropped seven strokes in round two, tallying a 78 to finish 21st overall at 163. Nichols lost two strokes on her second round for an 83 to finish T-32nd with a 168. Soellner saw the biggest drop in round two as she knocked off 15 strokes for an 86, ending T-62nd at 187. Gales concluded the team card with a 97 for a total of 190 and a T-67th finish. Mazotas shot 96 in her second round, finishing T-69th at 193. Lehman ended in T-75th as an individual with a second round score of 98 and a total of 200.
