WARREN, Ohio – The Ohio Wesleyan University women's golf team took to the course for one final time in the 2025-26 season at the NCAC Championship, competing Friday through Sunday at Avon Lakes Golf & Country Club. The Bishops started strong in fourth place with a 340 as teams battled soggy conditions on day one. Unfortunately, the Red and Black slipped back to seventh after a round two 376. OWU would rebound a bit in round three, jumping back ahead of Wooster to take sixth place with a 360 and a total of 1076.
Audrey Nichols led Ohio Wesleyan with a total of 243 strokes, finishing 10th overall. She was the top shot in the first two rounds with a 78 in round one and an 80 in round two, before finishing off with an 85.
Angela Soellner recorded a career performance, putting up her best career scores through 18, 36, and 54 holes. She was the second-lowest Bishop in rounds one and two with a career-low 82 followed by a 91. Soellner carded a 93 in round three to tally a 266 for the event and take 26th overall.
Lexi Rush shot an 86 in round one and a 101 in round two, before leading the Red and Black with an 84 in round three. She ended tied for 27th with a total of 271.
Carly Lehman filled in the final spot on the team scorecard in all three rounds, shooting scores of 94, 104, and 98. She finished in 33rd with a 296.
Samantha Mazotas tallied a 101 in round one, a 105 in round two, and a 102 in round three, totaling 308 for 34th.
