DELAWARE, Ohio – On Wednesday afternoon, the Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association (OSCA) released their Academic All-Ohio teams for the 2025 season. Representing Ohio Wesleyan University were juniors
Carson Browning and
Jack Jennings, and senior
Gabe O'Reilly.
O'Reilly was named to the Academic All-Ohio First Team, his second Academic All-Ohio selection following a second team selection last season. He started all 18 games for the Battling Bishops this season, scoring three goals and dishing out five assists to lead the team with 11 points.
Browning was named to the Academic All-Ohio Second Team, his first Academic All-Ohio selection. He started all 17 of his games played for the Bishops this season, scoring once and partaking in four defensive shutouts.
Jennings was named to the Academic All-Ohio Second Team, his first Academic All-Ohio selection. He started 17 of his 18 games played for the Red and Black this season, dishing out two assists and partaking in four defensive shutouts.
In order to be considered for Academic All-Ohio, student-athletes must be of junior or senior status and achieve at least a 3.30 grade point average alongside significant contribution to the team's success.
