ALLIANCE, Ohio – The Ohio Wesleyan University women's golf team started their spring season at the 18-hole Mount Union Fall Invitational held at Tannenhauf Golf Club on Friday. The Battling Bishops shot a team score of 372 to finish eighth in the eight-team field.

Lexi Rush led the Bishops with a round of 89, tying for 26th overall. Carly Lehman nabbed a 92 to tie for 29th overall. Samantha Mazotas shot a 95 for 34th. Angela Soellner recorded a 96 and finished 36th.

The Bishops will be back on the course on Monday at the Wooster Invitational in Medina at the Fox Meadow Country Club.
