DELAWARE, Ohio – It was a busy and exciting summer in America for soccer, including some exciting achievements from former Ohio Wesleyan University men's soccer team members competing in the professional ranks: 2012-15 Bishops' defender

Brad Stuver.
On July 8, Lee became the second player in USL League One history to surpass 15,000 regular season minutes. Lee adds this incredible feat to his career after also being the first player in league history to reach 200 appearances with one team (Greenville Triumph) in 2025. He has collected several accolades including 2022 Team-voted MVP, 2022 first team all-league, earned Greenville the most shutouts in League One in 2022, and received the 2023 Greenvillian Humanitarian Award.
Later in July, Stuver became the first player in Austin FC (MLS) to reach 200 appearances for the club. Stuver played for the Columbus Crew while serving on the Bishops' staff and since signing with Austin FC, has become one of the league's best goalkeepers. He was named an MLS All-Star in 2025, had the second-longest streak of consecutive starts in MLS history (119 games), and has been keeping the ball out of the net against some of the world's best players like Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez. Off the field, Stuver is widely recognized for his community service, being the first MLS player to be nominated for the ESPY Muhammad Ali Sports Humanitarian Award. The Brad and Ashley Stuver foundation raises money in Austin for Texas nonprofits fighting for equity and rights, strengthening community and culture, and caring for animals.
