CLEVELAND, Ohio – The North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) announced Tuesday morning its NCAC Athletes of the Week for the previous week of competition. Ohio Wesleyan University sophomore middle blocker Abby Nulph was selected as the player of the week for volleyball. It is her first career weekly conference award and the first for Battling Bishops volleyball since the 2024 season.

Nulph led the Bishops to two wins this past week, extending their win streak to six games. On Wednesday, she led the Red and Black to a comeback win over Earlham from down 2-0 with season highs of 16 kills and six blocks. Nulph followed that up with eight kills and three blocks on Saturday as OWU swept John Carroll to start out conference play 1-0.

Nulph and Ohio Wesleyan will be back on their home court tonight to face Baldwin Wallace for Morgan's Message night. First serve is set for 7 p.m.

Nulph is the first NCAC Athlete of the Week honoree for OWU in the 2026-27 academic year.
