Ohio Wesleyan University junior Ethan Freet (London) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 23, it was announced by the NCAC.
Freet, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan men's track & field team, was named Men's Sprinter/Hurdler of the Week.
Freet won 3 events and helped a relay team take another win as Ohio Wesleyan took the team title at the Ohio Wesleyan Triangular. He took firsts in the 60-meter dash, breaking the tape in :07.05; the 200-meter dash, winning in :23.06; and the long jump, leaping 20-10¾.
He also helped the 800-meter relay team win its event in 1:32.66.
