Ohio Wesleyan University sophomore Griffin Peyton (Cincinnati/Anderson) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Jan. 25, it was announced by the NCAC.

Peyton, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan men's track & field team, was named Men's Sprinter/Hurdler of the Week.

Peyton won the 60-meter dash in :07.07, finished second in the 200-meter dash, and helped the Bishop 800-meter relay team to a win as Ohio Wesleyan won the team title at the NCAC Quad meet on Saturday.  He also won the long jump with a leap of 20-4¼.
