Ohio Wesleyan University junior Alyssa Acevedo (Medina) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Feb. 12, it was announced by the NCAC.

Acevedo, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's track & field team, was named Women's Sprints/Hurdles Athlete of the Week.

Acevedo won the 60-meter hurdles at the All-Ohio Division III championship meet on Saturday, breaking the tape in :09.18 to help Ohio Wesleyan finish third in the team standings.
