Ohio Wesleyan University junior Lauren Corcoran (Tampa, Fla./Plant) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of March 19, it was announced by the NCAC.
Corcoran, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's tennis team, was named Women's Tennis Player of the Week.
Corcoran went 3-0 at No. 1 singles and 3-0 at No. 3 doubles to help Ohio Wesleyan win all 3 matches during its spring-break trip to Hilton Head Island, S.C. She lost only 1 set, that coming on a tiebreaker, in recording her 3 singles victories and helping Ohio Wesleyan go 22-2 in singles play during the week. In doubles competition, she helped the No. 3 doubles teams post wins by scores of 8-2, 8-4, and 8-3.
