Ohio Wesleyan University senior Cara DeAngelis (Norton/Ellet) has been named a North Coast Athletic Conference Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 21, it was announced by the NCAC.

DeAngelis, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's cross country team, was named Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week.

DeAngelis finished ninth among individuals at the Connecticut College Cross Country Invitational, hosted by Connecticut College at Harkness Memorial State Park in Waterford, Conn.  She completed the 6000-meter course in 22:16, helping Ohio Wesleyan to a second-place finish in the team standings.
