WATERFORD, Conn. – The Ohio Wesleyan University men's cross country team hit the road for the weekend, leaving on a trip to Connecticut on Thursday to compete in the Connecticut College Invitational on Saturday. The Battling Bishops finished 29th of 37 teams in the men's 8K open race with a score of 757.
Jacob Blubaugh was first to cross the line for the Bishops, finishing 127th overall and scoring 104 with a time of 27:30.61.
Xavier Platt was next with a 27:58.29, finishing 176th and scoring 140.
Lucas Weaver was third for OWU at 177th overall, scoring 141 with a 27:59.15
Austin Kling and Colby Sprauge were the fourth and fifth finishers for the Red and Black. Kling came in at 214th overall and scored 171 with a time of 28:25.31. Sprague put in a time of 28:53.90 to finish 255th and score 200.
Tyler Tang and
Haden Kirkham were the next two for OUW, finishing 290th and 320th respectively with times of 29:43.95 and 30:45.66.
