POWELL, Ohio – The Ohio Wesleyan University men's cross country team hosted their annual OWU Invitational meet on Friday night at Liberty Park, finishing 10th in the 12-team field with a score of 301.
Jacob Blubaugh paced the Battling Bishops with a 33rd place finish and a score of 30, crossing the line with a time of 27:19.2.
Lucas Weaver was next with a time of 28:31.8, finishing 96th and scoring 61.
Austin Kling and
Perry Jackson scored 67 and 68 for the team. Kling came in at 107th with a time of 28:52.4. Jackson finished at 29:14.8 for 121st.
Colby Sprague rounded out the team score with 76 points and a 141st finish at 29:37.5.
The next two for OWU were
Tyler Tang in 152nd with a 29:54.8 and
Haden Kirkham in 154th with a 30:02.2.
UP NEXT
The Bishops will be back on the course on Saturday, October 18th as they travel to Waterford, Connecticut to compete in the Connecticut College Invitational. The men's 8K race is set to start at 10 a.m.
