Nulph Named NCAC Newcomer of the Year; Four Named All-NCAC

CLEVELAND, Ohio –
On Monday afternoon, the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) revealed the major award winners and all-conference teams for the 2025 NCAC volleyball season. Ohio Wesleyan University freshman middle blocker Abby Nulph was named NCAC Newcomer of the Year alongside a first team All-NCAC selection. Joining Nulph on the All-NCAC teams were junior Natalie Dieball with a second team selection, and senior Lily Bechina and junior Mason Campbell with third team selections.

Nulph put together an impressive freshman campaign en route to her NCAC Newcomer of the Year award and first team All-NCAC selection, starting in all 29 matches for the Bishops and playing in all 112 sets. She finished third on OWU with 181 kills, accounting for 261 total points with 30 service aces and a team-high 87 total blocks alongside 50 digs. Nulph is the Bishops' third NCAC Newcomer of the Year in the past four seasons.

Dieball's second team selection is her third overall All-NCAC honor, having previously earned first team selections in 2023 and 2024. The 2023 NCAC Newcomer of the Year played in and started 28 matches for the Red and Black in 2025 and made appearances in 108 sets. She led the Battling Bishops with 291 total kills – the third-most in the conference – and notched a total of 346.5 points with a team-leading 38 service aces alongside 22 assists, 33 total blocks, and 247 digs.

Bechina's third team selection is her third overall All-NCAC honor and her second third team selection, accompanying a second team selection in 2024. The 2022 NCAC Newcomer of the Year played in 26 matches for Ohio Wesleyan in 2025, starting 19 and seeing action in 101 sets. She led the Red and Black with 668 assists – the third-most in the conference – and accounted for 107 points with 75 kills, 21 service aces, 29 total blocks, and 206 digs.

Campbell's third team selection is her first All-NCAC honor. She played in 24 matches for the Bishops this season, starting 16 and appearing in 78 sets. Campbell accounted for 185.5 points with 156 kills, 18 service aces, five assists, 19 total blocks, and 168 digs.
