LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) announced its Team of the Week for the week of March 16th on Tuesday afternoon. Earning a selection on the most recent USILA Team of the Week was Ohio Wesleyan University senior attacker-midfielder
Will Siegenthaler. It is his first selection and the first for Ohio Wesleyan this season.
Siegenthaler put up 11 points in two games for the Battling Bishops last week, scoring eight goals and dishing out three assists. He lit up the scoresheet in his return to his hometown of Elmhurst, Illinois on Tuesday, scoring four goals and adding three assists for seven points to lead OWU to 16-9 win over Elmhurst. Siegenthaler matched that scoring output with four more goals in just six shots on Saturday at sixth-ranked York.
Siegenthaler now has 11 goals and seven assists for 18 points this season. He and the Red and Black will be back home on Saturday, starting NCAC play against arch-rival Denison at noon at Selby Stadium.
