GREENWOOD, Ind. – On Wednesday afternoon, College Sports Communicators (CSC) announced their at-large Academic All-America teams for the 2025-26 academic year, naming Ohio Wesleyan University men's lacrosse senior faceoff specialist
Noah Citek to the third team. Citek is the 107th overall Academic All-American selection for Ohio Wesleyan as well as the third for the men's lacrosse program.
Citek – a native of Long Beach, California – graduated in May with a Neuroscience and Pre-Med degree. Off the field, he has been a three-time CSC Academic All-District honoree, a three-time NCAC Dr. Gordon Collins Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll member, a three-time OWU Top 50 Scholar-Athlete, an eight-time Dean's List member, a Dr. John Martin Award recipient, a Margaret Moffat Award winner, and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma student-athlete honor society. Citek has also volunteered his time with the North American section of the International Academy of Cardiovascular Sciences and participated in the JB Cardiovascular Summer Fellowship at The Ohio State University.
Citek enjoyed great success on the field in 2026 as well, setting new Ohio Wesleyan records for single-season ground balls (192) and faceoff wins (266) as well as career ground balls (603) and faceoff wins (890). He earned himself the honor of NCAC Specialist of the Year as well as a spot on the All-NCAC First Team, the IMLCA All-Region 5 First Team, and a USILA All-America honorable mention.
Citek and the Bishops finished the season with an 11-7 record, claiming a share of the NCAC Championship with a 6-2 conference record before taking the NCAC Tournament Championship title with a 12-4 win at Oberlin, marking the program's 36th NCAA Tournament appearance.
