WARTBURG, Iowa and ADA, Ohio – The Ohio Wesleyan University track & field team wrapped up a pair of weekend meets on Saturday, competing at both the Wartburg Qualifier and the Polar Bear Final Qualifier. The women's distance medley relay squad represented the Bishops in Wartburg, Iowa, on Friday, while two athletes traveled to Ohio Northern University to compete on Saturday.
At Wartburg on Friday, the women's 4000-meter DMR team consisting of
McKenna Downing,
Kaylee Lusk,
Brianna Montgomery, and
Zoe Ward set a new program record and placed eighth overall with a time of 12:02.55.
The sophomore duo of
Nate Snead and
Kennedy Elfers traveled to Ohio Northern on Saturday to compete on behalf of the Red and Black. Snead placed second in the 60-meter hurdles, finishing with a blazing time of 6.91. Elfers competed in the women's 60-meter hurdles, taking third place after crossing with a time of 8.07.

Ohio Wesleyan will officially conclude its indoor campaign this Friday, traveling with a contingent to Birmingham, Alabama, to compete in the NCAA Indoor National Championships.
