GREENWOOD, Ind. – College Sports Communicators released its 2025-26 Academic All-District selections for women's track & field and cross country on Tuesday afternoon. Ohio Wesleyan University was represented on the Division III Academic All-District Team by juniors
Sophie Cotts,
Brianna Montgomery, and
Zoe Ward, and sophomores
Katherine Dortmund,
Kennedy Elfers, and
Jera Hoy.
It is the second CSC Academic All-District selection for Cotts, Montgomery, and Ward, and the first for Dortmund, Elfers, and Hoy. Cotts is double-majoring in Exercise Science and Pre-Med. Dortmund is double-majoring in Computer Science and Religious Studies. Elfers is majoring in Exercise Science. Hoy is majoring in Accounting with a minor in Entrepreneurship. Montgomery is double-majoring in Business Management and Psychology. Ward is double-majoring in Biochemistry and Pre-Med.
In order to be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be of at least sophomore status and meet high academic and athletic standards, including maintaining a cumulative grade point average of at least a 3.50 on a 4.00 scale.
From this group, Dortmund has advanced on for consideration for Academic All-America. Those selections will be announced on Wednesday, July 15th.
