CHARDON, Ohio – The Ohio Wesleyan University men's golf team hit the course one final time before the NCAC Championship at the Caschera/DiCillo Classic, hosted on Sunday and Monday by John Carroll at the Sand Ridge Golf Club. The Battling Bishops finished sixth in the six-team field, shooting 324 on day one and 318 on day two for a total of 642.
The tournament used an unconventional six-man lineup instead of the usual five, with the team score still being calculated by the top four finishers for each round.
Nate Tripp paced the Bishops with a 153 after rounds of 74 and 79, finishing tied for 20th.
Ryan Ashby placed 31st at 161, shooting an 81 and an 80.
Hunter Haynes secured 34th with a 164. He shot an 85 followed by a 79.
Callahan Lawler recorded a 165 for 35th place, tallying an 85 and an 80.
Gavin Stutz turned in an 84 and an 82 for a total of 166, finishing 36th.
Jacob Spann placed 40th with a 174, shooting a 90 and an 84.
