Ohio Wesleyan University freshman Ty Mansfield (Columbus/Bexley) have been named North Coast Athletic Conference Players of the Week for the week of Jan. 23, it was announced by the NCAC.
Mansfield, a member of the Ohio Wesleyan women's swimming & diving team, was named Women's Swimming & Diving Athlete of the Week.
Mansfield won 4 events to lead Ohio Wesleyan to a first-place finish in a triangular meet against Notre Dame (Ohio) and Oberlin on Saturday. She won the 50 butterfly in :27.96, the 50 freestyle in :25.72, the 100 IM in 1:04.67, and the 50 backstroke in :29.37, and swam on a pair of second-place relay teams.
