Major: Early childhood education
How/Why did you choose Ohio Wesleyan?
I chose OWU because it checked off every box on my list for my perfect school. It had a field hockey team with great girls and coaches, it had my dream major, and the location was perfect because my parents could come to all of my games!
How/Why did you choose your major?
I chose my major because I am passionate about children getting an equal education. I believe that every child no matter their situation deserves a chance.
Why did you choose to compete in sports at Ohio Wesleyan?
I can’t remember a time in my life that I wasn’t playing a sport. On my first visit when I originally met the team and coaches, I knew that this was the school for me.
What is your favorite memory on an Ohio Wesleyan team?
My favorite memory from the field hockey team is when we beat DePauw and Kenyon last year, something that hadn’t been done in many years!
Do you have any pre-event rituals or superstitions?
I always get my hair braided the same way, by the same person and I try to wear the same headband every game. But if I don’t play well I change everything up.
What are your plans after graduation?
The goal is to teach at an elementary school and coach field hockey in Columbus!
Where is your favorite place to eat at in Delaware, and what is your go-to dish there?
Pulp, I get the Protein Packer or I get the Chicken Caesar Wrap!
What is your ideal travel destination?
I really want to travel around all of the European countries! I love walking around new cities and exploring!
