How/Why did you choose Ohio Wesleyan?
I chose Ohio Wesleyan because I loved the community on campus. Right away I felt connected to the field hockey team and I knew that with smaller class sizes, students have the opportunity to create personal relationships with professors.
How/Why did you choose your major?
I've always been interested in the behind-the-scenes aspect of sports and the fitness industry in general, so this major path is perfect for me to gain a general background in business and management while adding a specialty for that industry.
What is your favorite memory on an Ohio Wesleyan team?
My favorite memory on the OWU field hockey team is being able to play (and win!) on a D1 Astroturf field at Northwestern (University in Evanston, Ill.).
Do you have any pre-event rituals or superstitions?
I have multiple handshakes with my teammates that we do on the field right before the start of the game.
How/Why did you choose your event/position? Why do you like your event/position?
I love playing my position because I get to be in the center of the field distributing the ball from one side to another or from the backfield to the forwards! I love being able to have that field vision to create opportunities to score!
